This is a delicious blueberry cheese danish that I made at home with my family. The recipe was easy to follow and the taste was amazing! It is perfect for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients:
-One tube of refrigerated crescent dinner roll dough (8 pieces)
-1 ½ Tbsp. Butter, melted
-4 oz. Cream cheese, softened
-1/3 cup Sugar
-1 tsp. Vanilla extract
-1 egg
-1/4 cup All-purpose flour
-1/2 tsp. Baking powder
-1/4 tsp. Salt
-1/3 cup Sugar
-1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
-3/4 cup Blueberries, fresh or frozen
In a small bowl whisk together the 1/3 cup sugar, vanilla extract and egg until smooth. Set aside.
Using a food processor or hand mixer cream together the cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar and butter until smooth and creamy. Stir in the flour, baking powder and salt until well combined.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Set aside.
Unroll the dough and separate into 8 triangles. Place the dough triangles on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the cream cheese mixture over each dough triangle. Sprinkle the blueberries over the cream cheese mixture.
Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl. Sprinkle over the blueberries.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and the blueberries are bubbly.
Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
